I got interested in animation very young after spending far too much time watching Simpsons and Cartoon Network shows.
I started making my own when I was 10, and what I made was terrible, but I loved doing it. So I never stopped!
Many years later, still pursuing my love of animation, I went to college to study Interactive Media and then Graphic Design, Illustration and Digital Media at University.
Its then I began to take my art a bit more seriously and took more time to improve my illustration and creative writing skills, with a growing interest in comics inparticular.
I spent a short time designing games and t-shirts for various companies, exhibited my illustrative work, had my animations showcased at the Bradford Animation Festeval multiple times and even won some awards that lead to a work placement at the Hallmark card company.
Now a few years after finishing University I've gone on to self publish a number of books that have been sold at some of the best comic shops and conventions around and had smaller pieces of work published in zines and anthologies.
During the day I am the art specialist for a well known UK charity.
With the rest of my time I continue making books, with a few more
exciting projects in the works that seem to get more and more
exciting with every passing day.
